If you love what you do, believe in it deeply and are committed to it, the passion you call upon will empower you to work harder, stretch farther to meet your goals successfully, and help you immensely to focus on the future.

FWI was initiated in 1921 by individuals who had a passion for their future and today looking at 2007, we all need to further this important tradition and to meet the challenges that lie ahead in our lives and careers.  BELIEVE in yourself, have a plan, be ready to devote your energies and enthusiasms to your goals and then Climb Strong! Live boldly and with gusto, realize your blessings and "Follow Your Passion…Focus on the Future". Follow Your Passion…Focus on the Future

  • We are leaders and encourage development of leadership skills. 
  • We engage in project based activities that are vehicles for learning, networking, fun and personal and professional growth, sensitive to making a difference in the lives of others.
  • We grow our group membership by sharing a strong sense of camaraderie, enthusiasm and common interest in helping others. Members share the FWI message with other women (and men) who are co-workers, friends, or vendors.
  • We take pride in creating programs that enhance our financial savvy, that are a learning experience, interactive, motivating, and of interest to both members and guests. 
  • We welcome new members and guests and encourage interaction at our meetings.
  • We fundraise so we can offer valuable programming and help members, such as the Member Assistance Program for those with special needs or without employer support.
  • We encourage members to view this group as a non-threatening forum to expand professionally and grow confidence and competitive skills for the new tomorrows ahead.
