Foundation

The FWI Foundation was established in 1973 to serve as the educational and research arm of FWI. The Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of banking and financial services industry professionals, the industry, and the community at-large.

The Foundation focuses on providing women working in and with the banking and financial services industries:

• Programs to foster their professional development;
  

• Research on the status of women in the industry; and
  

• Educational tools and opportunities to advance their careers.

The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, governed by a board of nine trustees.
