Orange County Group
Led by Christine Dillon
Christine and the Orange County Group had
another exceptional year. The
leadership continues to build momentum and they
excel in recruitment, mentoring, programming,
motivation, involvement and succession
planning.
The Holiday Breakfast, which is their
signature event, netted over $8,000.
Orange
County
puts extreme effort into its fundraising
because they believe in giving back to the
members.
The Group paid for 25 members to attend
the District Positive Risk Workshop in April
and gave five $674 scholarships to Annual
Conference.
Orange
County
donated $250 during the Foundation Quarter, and
has been a member of the
Paragon
Circle for the past
several years. In addition, Group members
donated over $1,700 to the Foundation Invest
& Win Campaign which garnered them a full
conference registration.
The annual networking event in the spring
brought in five new members. In the
summer, the panel program Orange County Women
at the Top, was a great success. The
Orange County Group also develops leaders. There
are currently seven members participating at
the Association level and several are Volunteer
Seminar Leaders (VSL).
Orange
County
achieved a recruitment level beyond their
dreams this past year. They
recruited 29 new members and most are already
participating on committees. They
now also have 4 male members to their
credit.
